I had a 2.5" barrel antique Bulldog in 450 Adams. Roughly 250lbs of energy with a 220gr projectile. It had a hideous grip that only let me get a finger and a half for a hold. It was ridiculous with kick. Thought I was going to split my head open with the front sight. That was with factory loads that were 262gr and a lot hotter. About 300lbs of energy. I reload now and make much softer loads than that for my Webley RIC (200gr). Both are in this picture. Both same cal.

I sold the smaller Bulldog and kept the RIC. Now thinking of getting a Webley MP in the same cal. Would have a barrel like the Bulldog but a grip like the RIC but just a 1/4" shorter. Like this -

With the experience of you 12(6) folk and your shooting of short barrel revolvers, could you chime in what one would expect for kick from a Webley MP. Think 2" snub nose 38 ish.
Thanks
