Question about Noveske reliability

I've never been an AR guy. I had a Stag once and I found in to be finicky with ammo and that was enough for me to get out of the AR game.

But, I'm considering now buying a Noveske as I consistently hear good things. How are they for reliability right out of the box?

It sucks that you had problems with your Stag, they are supposed to be decent quality rifles.

Noveske is supposed to be one of the best, and should work fine. But so should LMT, BCM, Colt, and others...at a much lower price. Frankly, any AR that's built right should run perfectly. It sounds like you just got a lemon with the Stag.

I've owned two AR's, a Norc CQ311 ($500 for a new rifle:eek:) and a Bushmaster frankengun. To be honest, they are both the most reliable rifles I've ever owned. Haven't had one problem with them, the Norc is gone now unfortunately...

In my limited experience with them, and from what I've heard they are extremely reliable and functional. Mind you I've only picked up an Afghan and put a few down range with a strangers, but from what I am hearing most owners are quite happy with them.

Sorry, it's not really an opinion, but +1 from me at least. I just bought an N4 lower that's going on a Frankenstein, so I am just enthusiastic about it.

Now I heard it all on this site!
The word Noveske in the AR handbook comes with this statement;
Noveske meaning: reliable, a step above all others, Tier 1, precision, to do what other companies claim to do, hand crafted, marksmenship, a quality bench mark in the AR field and so on & so on it goes.
Now back to trouble shooting your regular schedualed Norinco AR.

I was thinking of going with a noveske, and am not a big fan of the ARs either. My armalite m15A4 wouldn't run 100% after a few hundred rounds without cleaning, and my LMT upper doesnt inspire confidence either.

If you buy one, please post a torture test, I am curious to see how it runs as well.

What is wrong with you LMT upper? Just curious because we've imported and sold hundreds and they are some of the best running, most reliable AR's that I've seen over the years... I own several myself personally.

What exact problems are you having with it and what is it specifically (model, configuration, etc.)? Is it a parts upper or was it purchased new and complete from us?

Would really like to get to the bottom of this... please post details here or email me if you prefer.

X2. I just don't see how my 14.5" LMT upper wouldn't inspire confidence.

Noveske ranks up there with LMT, KAC, Colt, BCM, etc.

IMO the rest of the Noveske guns (at least the N4, no experience with N6) are pretty 'plain' (i.e. no real upgrades, but still very high quality), aside from the amazing barrels.
