Hi all. I have an extended bolt release installed on my M305 (sitting in the blackfeather RS chasis). The bolt release is from brownells but not sure if its the smith brand or other.
With the bolt locked back (i.e on an empty mag or done manually), I can only send the bolt home/into battery using the extended bolt release. In other words, the "normal" way of pulling further back on the op-rod handle and letting it fly will not release the bolt. Does the install of the extended bolt release eliminate the standard method of releasing the bolt?
I don't see anything "sticking" in the receiver.
Thanks in advance,
