When I first purchase my BD-44 back in June, I think, I was told that spare mags should be in stock by late July....

Now, I know you've been having problems with customs and such, but I (and I think a few others here) would like to know if you have any idea when they might be avalible for sale?

Solution: Buy the BD38 instead :evil:

Cheaper readily available ammo, just as cool, both are restricted, and mag availability is NOT a concern. I have 7 mags for mine, for example.

Boy that sucks! If the vendor promised parts availiablity and now there are none, ouch.
I'd be expecting at least to be kept in the loop with adequate communication, but I guess customer priority heads south once your money is remited.
I seem to remember you generated a alot of positive interest in these rifles here on CGN keep us up to date on the support you recieve for your money and efforts.

The lack of mags is the only thing keeping me from buying one of these, I imagine others as well. I just don't see the point in owning a rifle you can't have 10 or 20 mags for.

Woe woe here, this is not a flame against Marstar, they never "promised" some mags at a certain time. They said they had them ordered, and "thought" they should be here by last July. Now I have talked to them several times over the summer, and at that time, it was a customs hick-up.

I just thought if John was to post an update on the mags, it might save them a few phone calls.... but then again, maybe not... ;)

In fairness, spare mags is NOT spare prats. It's spare mags ;)

For all we know, replacement parts are readily available, right?

Here we go again, making statements without knowing the facts.... Have you tried asking, no, just offer your informed opinion....

Since you seem have all the answers then why don't you explain to the good folks here....

Better yet as a note of respect to our customers I will, The new mags we had approved for production had a capacity problem, we did not want them on the Canadian market.... That simple.... We will have more soon....

For those who want original MP-44 mags we have some....

At $165- $200 Each? Unless that's a typo, I will wait for some new production ones.

Has anybody manufactured mags of this type lately ??
Any ideas on what it costs for dies ??
Unless somebody out there would like to place an order for a good run of them, say 10,000 pieces, YES the price is high....

BIG RED;

If you know of a source for these mags at a good price range, please advise, we will pay a very handsome "finders fee"
Could use 2,000-5,000 units

JIMMMYIN;
I learned a long time ago NOT to discuss what we have planned, otherwise we get flooded with a large number of irrelavent questions.... and end up accused of misdeeds.

If we state we will have X in May and it arrives in June, we are liars, fraud artists, we mislead our customers , etc, etc....

Better we simply announce new products when they are either on the way in or in one of our warehouses.... Much easier on folks nerves....

For example if I were to say that we are introducing new belt fed semis very soon, what is the reaction ??

What if I say an entire new line of high end pistols at our usual lower than all others prices ?? Will be on our site right after the holidays ??

What if I say we will be introducing a complete new line of those nasty "assault rifles in the new year ??
