The 12ga version is at 6.0lbs according to their specs. Maybe Beretta1963 could confirm as I believe he has one.
Confirmed! Not an ounce above 6lbs....in fact maybe an ounce below 6lbs

I was about to post that 20G is very nice but for every 20 you will find at least a hundred 12G guns, and I see that happened. Huge advantage to a 12 is that shells are much easier to find in times like these, and in a much greater range of options. I do harken back to the days when every hardware and country store could and did sell ammunition, but it's still true.
What are people's thoughts regarding the "made in Italy" Franchi Instinct vs the Turkish made guns from Huglu or Yildiz? Has anyone ever heard or shot a Fausti? How do they compare? Would you rather own a Italian or Turkish made shotgun? I'm sure Franchi and Beretta source the instinct out to other Italian manufacturers? It's by now means a Beretta.
Ok u decided on over under. Find the cheapest decent make gun you can. Shoot 2000 rounds through it. Figure out what you like/dislike find that feature on your next gun this time spend a bit more money. Shoot 2000 rounds. You will with out a doubt have a favorite. Sell the other one. Repeat as many times as necessary. In theory this is sound advice. In reality I own 15 shotguns and counting lol

Slightly used and well taken care off Beretta 686 from late 80’s to early 2000’s.Best bang for buck, best made, better than they are now.
They swing and fit most folks better than other guns due to slim receiver and great balance.When/if you sell it, you will get your money back if you take care of the gun.
This whole "theory vs reality" thing seems quite common in this community...
