I had a good look at a surgeon action and a bat at the Calgary gun show yesterday. Gorgeous actions, I like the surgeon because of the integral recoil lug, but the bat was very nice also. I looked at some 6.5x47 lapua brass to see what the case really looked like. Anybody I asked about the 6.5x47 L had good things to say about it.
