acr can be had in non restricted if you are willing to put a longer barrel on it so it really is a non issue other than cost.

Dont forget the conversion kits Bushmaster promised looooooooooooooong time ago.
And I am sure the new keymod XCR with light barrel are a lot lighter than ACR.

I still can't get over the colour differences between the Upper and lower on the tan ACR, makes it look off. Black ACR for me.

Even if someone gave me an XCR-L for free all I would do is sell it. I've shot a few -L's and a couple -M's and the ACR wins in every category except price and as far as I'm concerned the extra price is worth it.

It's too bad Bushmaster hasn't been supporting the platform but to me it doesn't matter. I just make my own caliber conversions and continue on.

XCR-L keymod for me. Replacement parts are available, shoot straight (2 inch 15 rnd group at 50m prone with a stump for support ACOG optic), no FTF FTE after a 400 round bender out in the bush.

2 inch group at 50 metres = 3.7 moa.

That's not bad for Norinco ammo but if it's the best that can be done with handloads it's nothing to brag about.
