Range Bag

I have this Shooters Ridge pistol bag. Worst POS on the market. It's falling
apart 3 months later.....

Shooters connection for me next time!!

hmm I like the options on the Green Mountain bag. Anyone have one? plus extra pics of it?

I have the shooters connection bag as well. The only major criticism I have of it is that the main large pocket is not easily lockable. I used locks on the pistol pouches with no difficulty.

I used a Green Mountain bag for several years. It's a good product, but the Shooters Connection bag is better.

I have one from Competitive Edge Dynamics. I like it, it makes me look like I know what I'm doing...:D :D

:') Reason I replaced the good old Uncle Mikes bag that didn't need replacing.

Bag with PALS??

I...I'd like them make a bag with attachments you can take on or off, like the water bottle bag?? I don't need it, I'd rather put something else there....

Doesn't anyone make a range bag with Rows of PALS webbing?? That would be sweeeeeeeeet & modular.

that's what I was thinking, and then the small bags would just attach and come off as need be. you could have a regular bag one day, a monster the next.

Is it alright to put the guns and ammo in the same bag ? I put my guns in a gun case and put my ammo in the range bag right now.

I don't like your idea of the "modular" bag, Rob. It sounds like it wouldn't be as strong. Shooters Connection bags have inner pockets that you can remove.

I bought one of the 5.11 Tactical "Shooters Connection knockoff" bags. It's a good bag, but it's not as good quality as the Shooters Connection bag. Some of the metal parts don't look particularly solid. I already know of one guy who wrecked the D-ring simply by picking up his bag wrong. Put a lot of gear in it, and it does become heavy.

I looked at the Shootersgear bags. If the material wasn't quite so soft (I like a stiffer bag...get your minds out of the gutter, you perverts!) I'd have picked one up at the CanNats last year right away.

The Shooters Connection Bag material is soft but the bag is designed in a way that you can pile bricks on the darn thing and it won't colapse. Check out their website.

Best Bag on the market bar none.

Take Care

I have a Shooters Connection bag and the one thing that I don't like about it is you can't lock it securely.

You can lock the zippers to the d ring however.
