I have to agree with the other folks on here, but think of it this way instead. If you spend money on a $100 rangefinder, it will not be able to read any range that you would need to worry about how far it is. What I mean is it will not range 400+ yards, and would be lucky to range 300 accurately. Anything less then 300, with a 2-3in high sight in at 100 yards you don't need the range finder anyways, so why bother at all...and at those distances you are better off training your eyes to discern the difference.
