Rarest Dan Wesson?

Would also like to make a somewhat off topic remark here:

It's nice to read a thread where more "mature" members (and that is not strictly an age thing even though I know many of you are in my age bracket) make posts where you have a full understanding of the ridiculous laws that have come beforehand. I have become familiar and/or dealt with a few of you on this thread and it is always nice to read your informative posts.

Too many newer members come on here with attitude and zero knowledge of what gun control has been shoved down our throats in the past. It is nice to read a thread about a unique revolver like the DW and how the frackin stupid C-68 prohibitions affected them and the value of those packs. When a certain member stated that some of us post with our supposed slights we have experienced, that is the sort of attitude I am talking about. He was someone who likely had absolutely no idea what a DW revolver pack is even or a clue about prohibition of handguns.

I have a 22lr DW revolver with a collection of interesting barrels/shrouds including the rare 10" silhouette to fit my rimfire collection addiction.

Every time I shoot a DW doubles action it is always a mystery how great they are after shooting a colt or smith, , I have a couple of colts with better single action triggers.
I must admit, I have never shot a 44 or super mag, would be nice to try one , but my elbows may not like that much snap these days ; just never see them.
a guy at the range I know has a very nice 22 blue 4 in he said he should sell as he is glock guy now, why I will never know?
I said I would buy it , price was vg , and I think now he is having second thoughts, I may have to bribe him a bit.
The 4 inch don't bother me, wish it was also 2 inch, but market is getting old , like the rest of us that like GOOD guns , not plastic.
Many moons ago I traded a pak for something, I still remember the pistol pack, don't remember the trade, so I screwed up I guess, but show me a gun guy that hasn't screw up and I will call him full of sh**

there was a pack on here a short time ago i skipped over it and went back but couldn't find it im looking for a 357 2" barrel and shroud i do have a prohib licence

Agreed. Whenever I take out my spare DW It amazes me how small the cylinder and frame are. The trigger is also quite unique, short and crisp. I don't even #### the Hunter, it's one of my "Holy Grail" guns.
 
Ya, We are still looking, out in this part of the country lots of cowboy guns , BTW that 4 in 22 DW had a 4.2" barrel.
I was looking at that page listed of the different Paks and found out something new, what the heck was 414supermag caliber??
I have heard of the 360DW, but have never seen it.
Anyone have anything like that?

Don’t want to derail the original thread , however there appears to be some Dan Wesson fans here . Can somebody provide an opinion of the value of a Dan Wesson Pistol Pack 22V . It’s minty , however a 12(6) in Canada . Maybe time to find it a new home . View attachment 186807
