Ha ha, ur uhh yea..
I doubt you are a real hunter. This is soo not a "go to" hunting rifle, clearly you have never tried your rifle in cold temps like -20degC or lower. What, do you shoot with big beaver lined mitts on? Not to mention the action would most likely not even cycle, and any hint of frost or snow on that action you might as well wave buh bye to your game!
Seriously, quit fooling yourself these are primary hunting rifles. Sub moa.. doubt it.
But it is nice to dream isn't it!?
I never really understood the mass modification mall ninja principle? Other then the fact just to be different. A few grams here and there of weight savings maybe?
If you just want a gun to play around with and modify, this is a decent NR gun for that, but a reliable, accurate, hunter it is not.
Maybe I am a Debbie downer, but from my experience, I have seen enough guys modify everything from corvettes to snowmobiles to sports equipment, and nearly all of those guys are sitting on the sidelines watching the guys with factory units run circles around them all day long.
If you wanted everything better, why didn't you just buy a better gun?
First day I had mine out it was colder than -20. Worked fine. Got a sub MOA group out of it too, but I’ll admit it was a one off.....so far. I’ve reloaded a bunch but have yet to test my loads.
Mr. awesome hunter, why don’t you school us on what a proper hunting rifle is?
