I have a new RBCS supreme master kit, I'm having trouble with the hand primer. I've been calling RBCS ,since yesterday, but they just put me on hold as they say they are too busy.( not a good sign as this is the warranty department , not sales). Is there any other way to deal with my issue? Or should I just throw the primer in the garbage and buy a diff brand? Anyone like to recommend someone , who has better customer service?

Going to be hard pressed to find any better customer service than RCBS. One of the best I have been involved with in the reloading game
Maybe they are just real busy and you could try chat or an e-mail vs the phone call or hold off a few days until it slows down
Cheers

Maybe you could describe the problem you are having with the priming tool. Surely there are folks here who use this tool, and might have suggestions.

Talked to them yesterday. Fixed me right up. Parts are in the mail.

All said and done in under 5 minutes.

So far so good.

I have in another thread, but I'll post it here also, the pin that insert into the white plastic fitting , is not centered, and as a result ,1 in 7 primers are getting squat. Also the part of the tray that inserts into the white fitting is flaring open the the white fitting , causing the tray to easily pop off.

RBCS, replaced a second hand broken press for free. It was sent to me on the cheep from a senior Canadian military officer. I broke it within a few days. They honored there lifetime warranty and sent a brand new one out free of charge postage paid, even thou I made clear that I was not the original purchaser. Suffice to say, they have had my business ever since. If they are unable to satisfy you, there is likely good reason, I would say stay patient they will make it right.

Can't tell wat your loading but for small primers you have to use the smaller plastic thingy with small pin large primers you use bigger plastic thingy with big pin

I was going to say the something, looks like the wrong size plastic bushing , for around the small primer rod.

I got a white plastic fitting and a black plastic fitting, I'm sure it said in the instruction manual to use the white fitting with the small pin, so I didn't even try the black fitting. I wonder if maybe I need to use black fitting with small pin? I'll have to look at it , when I get home. Does your small pin sit evenly in the hole?

Yes it does sit nice no play I'll stop at my house here in a bit an see wat color my small thing is
By looking at my pic , you can see the pin is canted, I can not straighten the pin by force, so either the plastic fitting is off spec or I'm a dummy and used the wrong fitting. :)

View attachment 20028. You are using the right one mine has a bit play to its also set up 223 but have no problems you using number 10 shell holder?

Ya , that looks like mine, in using a #10 . Every so often I can feel a resistance, but it's to late to back it off, as the primer is already started, only 2 options is to , either force the case out or force the primer in. You can see what happens when I force it in.
