Wondering if anybody else has had issues contacting RCBS for parts replacement.

I have tried the web page contact and VIA regular email and no replies.

Some of their contact emails on the site seem like funny names.

Just wondering if my dumb luck again or hopefully not a change in policy or management.

Always had PERFECT service from RCBS

Just been using email, which has always worked in the past, no issues.

Hard to call during day hours.

I wanted to email also. I didn't find a link that made me confident that I would get a reply. This was my first time contacting them so I called.
Overall, their service in my case seemed great. I agree though, an email would be preferable.

That there.

Back when I made a post about some strange shaped cases coming out of the press. How I did it I have no clue.

Usually its either a foreign object in the case, or it was misadjusted. Sometimes the stem gets bent enough that the decapping pin misses the flash hole.

Most dealers have one laying around in common calibers. I stripped the threads on one (.30 cal) a couple months ago when the expander ball came loose, got a replacement at WSS for 10 bucks. I likely could have got one for nothing but who wants to wait?

Looks like he tried to de cap a case that was Berdan primed, that usually doesn't end well. You can go to the gunstore and pay for a replacement or call RCBS and get one for free. Their customer service is outstanding

Could someone explain the picture to me. It looks to me to be a die for a small caliber such as the 222 Rem, and a large spindle assembly, like for a 30 cal mag.

Ya Ya

Still not sure how I did it.What is the phrase? Size 2 hat size 50 chest? Not in my case however.

Sent a third email yesterday , see if they reply.

TBH , it is a die for loading cartridges that shoot around corners, what movie was that where they could do that again? This is how. ;)

Just going by memory, but if I think he creamed his 338 Lapua die awhile ago.

Strip the main body of all parts and replace the pin from another set of RCBS dies you're not using while you're waiting.Harold
