We have to let this rest for a bit, then just have reword or use the terminology of 79% lowers. This ought to piss them off. LOL
Released Today.......
The classification listed in the table applies to the unmodified receiver blank.
The classification of a firearm made from one of the receiver blanks may differ.
So, in other words, 80% AR15 is prohibited when it's awaiting completion...
... so once it's made into an AR15 it takes on the classification of that firearm (i.e., restricted) as per the FRT.
This Thought Crime nonsense sucks.
Don't want to be a devils advocate here but I am surprised they didn't consider the Glock lowers prohibited too as they can be used for say a Glock 18 slide...
By that logic then all AR lower's could be considered easily converted to full auto...
LOL..who really cares about what these douches at the RCMP say,80% will never go away simply because they dont like them, and now that they made them prohibited and brought national attention to these things, the market and demand for these will go through the roof, there will be even more of them flooding in across the border, and at $50.00 or less in the US,the supply is endless, pretty much defeating their ban in the first place,LOL.the stupidity at the RCMP doesn't seem to have any end, they are so affraid of gun owners it's too funny,
Don't want to be a devils advocate here but I am surprised they didn't consider the Glock lowers prohibited too as they can be used for say a Glock 18 slide...
MFG - so now "this guy I know", who has "some" 80% AR15 lowers, is now in possession of prohibited "firearms"?? We have officially gone full retard.
This country and its firearms paranoia is out of control.
Mean while back on the streets of this once proud country, we have free needle exchanges, safe space for shooting up illegal drugs, and then the resulting destroyed careers, families, and resulting deaths; not to mention an insane burden on our medical system.
But that's OK, drug abuse is acceptable to our society, but firearms are not.
