RCMP making their own rules again..

Somehow the status of some objects changes when used to commit a crime. A sub 500fps airgun is unregulated until used in a robbery, then it magically becomes a firearm.

Such has always been the case; same goes for a toy gun; use one to commit robbery; it's armed robbery despite the fact that it shoots suction cups.

Now RCMP ceased the import of the Benjamin Marauder.. Because they had shrouds on it. Some airgun models, they just cut the shrouds, flush to muzzle. Wasn't good enough for the RCMP and the Mrod ( Marauder ) And now they want the shrouds completely gone.

Not really. Was a case where 2 teens went on a drive by with a BB gun, ended up shooting someone in the eye. I didn't see ANY weapon charges. Just aggravated assault, and released to their parents.
