Interesting that the sniper chests are very similar to the Lee Enfield no15 chests.

It is actually a fair price. The rifle is worth close to $2000, more depending what parts/barrel are on the rifle. Scope, scope mount and barrel block mount another $2000 or more. Sling and cheek piece if real another $500 or more. Chest I have no clue.

They'll all be gone fast. I think the Sniper version is a deal, compared to anything other than a Nagant, - wish I had the cash.

Hmm, $5295 is a good chunk of change. Maybe that re-sets the value on an M1D Garand sniper rifle. It appears that the Italians dispensed with the flash hider, a loose fitting appendage which achieved little but to detract from accuracy.

They used Merican at the start. Flash hiders aren't cheap either $500 U.S. for a G.I.

These aren't the "pieces welded together and sold" monstrosities that Marstar sold. Those were little better than pipe bombs....

The M14 semis (M305 etc) are on the OIC. Not the M1 Garands, unless the RCMP decide they are variants of the M14 at some point.

We all know that the M14/M305 et al are based on the Garand action brought up to modern spec with a detachable box magazine and improved gas system, so it seemed logical to presume the M1 was classified as a "variant".
