Recoil Pad's bipods questions

Wrap some masking tape around the end of the stock when you get down to the short and curlies, that way if you slip you're only sanding tape.
 
Well I plan on doing it this week sometime. The limbsaver doesn't feel all that soft, today I was playing with it and it really only seems thicker then my current recoil pad and not THAT much softer. Well hopefully it will help out somewhat
 
I've never heard anyone say that the Limbsaver isnt a soft recoil pad.....seems like its super 'mushy' even when compared to a Decelerator, which is my preference. I'm sure it will make a huge difference....
 
It's kinda soft but when I put it up to my shoulder and pretended like I shot a round off, it wasn't all soft like I thought it would be. It is softer, I just dunno yet, how much softer
 
Well I just went and bought a limbsaver ment for my gun. I installed it last nite and it is only like a mm off in 1 area, but other then that it's great. I can't wait to try it this weekend :)
