Recommend me a Sling

Andy's Leathers makes the original Ching Sling (the type which requires an extra swivel stud just forward of the magazine), and one he calls a Rhodesian Scout Rifle Sling, which I think is similar to Galco's Safari Ching Sling.

neither the Galco Safari Ching Sling nor the Rhodesian Scout Rifle Sling are even close to the Boonie Packer (redi-mag) Safari Sling.

I fail to see how the Boonie Packer Safari Sling can be used as a shooting aid. Neither would it allow itself to a muzzle down carry position, which is my preference as it gives me quick access to the rifle which would be in the way if carried to the front as demonstrated in the video; so how exactly is it better? The various versions of the Ching Sling or for that matter the original CW sling are much more versatile, but it all comes down to personal preference.

it allows you to shoulder the rifle in a blink of an eye.
which is important for both hunting and defense in thick bush.

As a carry strap the Boonie Packer Safari Sling receives top marks, and there is little question that such a sling would provide quick access to your rifle and minimize fatigue over a long day on the trail. But any conventional sling can be very fast given the correct carry, and the biggest strike against the BPSS IMHO, is that it doesn't allow for use as a shooting aid. If it did, I would probably have one, and I have considered them from time to time over the years. For the woods hunter or for someone who just doesn't see the advantage, the use of a sling as a shooting aid is a non-issue, but I like to sling up when I can.
 
A buddy of mine was ordering from someplace in the US that has the Galco ching sling at a good price so I added one to his order, saves a couple of bucks on the shipping. They didn't have brown, but ordered black - guess it will look ok on any rifle down the road.

Can't wait to give it a try - will let you guys know how it works out. Thanks again for the tips!

Update . . . I just ordered a holster from Galco and the shipping was $9.98. I think the $90 shipping mentioned by Harv3589 must have included the cost of the Safari Ching Sling which, IIRC, runs close to $80.
