Easy button for light option is O-Light Baldr Mini, affordable and quick detach and compact/lightweight (2.5 oz) can do light, light and laser, or laser only. Rechargeable, just need a USB port somewhere. Another fine option but pricy are Streamlight TLR-7 light only or TLR-8 light/laser which has lockout, uses surefire light battery cr123, but not quick detach. The TLR's same weight 2.5 oz.
For reflex type lightweight low mounting pistol slide type sights look at anything Holosun with the Solar, 407c, 507c and get it on the rail mount. They are also 2.5 oz. They say 2 moa dot but if mount closer to your face than pistol eye relief distance the dot will be bigger. I have a 507c green on a bolt action rifle on a 3 slot rail on front ring mount location of the action and it translated the dot to about 3.8 moa size. Ideal for most work. Just something to keep in mind. I wish the dot manufacturers would list dot size at different eye reliefs we could commonly put them at (rifle, pistol) etc. The Holosun Solar do not need a battery either, but it has one, they function in daylight without and will only use some battery juice if solar isn't providing enough so battery life is hugemungous. They have shake awake auto brightness mode which is the ultimate defence setting but you can choose manual and lockout on manual mode also, which is nice for dimming dot for zeroing and removing any starburst effect. It could come in handy from a blind also as it may dim to blind but it's brighter outside blind so manual mode would be the ticket. Very happy with the little 507c green on one of my rifles and couple 407c's on some rimfire fun guns.
So a 507c and Baldr Mini add a total of 5 oz to a rifle, not including any rails, both low profile. You can mount each on a single to 3 slot 0.5 oz rail if guns don't have rails. So one more ounce for rails. You guys have some heavy bulky gear strapped onto some pretty sweet little stompers.
The above set up has a Burris steel 3 slot extended front rail for the Holosun 507c green (total for both is 3.0 oz) and the single take off a rimfire aluminum single slot rail with O-Light Baldr Mini together is also 3.0 oz. For grand total of 6 oz added to bare rifle including rails that weren't there to begin with. The light you can take on or off as needed for hunt mode to defence mode.
The dot size on this 2 moa dot with that short eye relief is 3.8 moa, can hunt or defend no prob. If dot fits inside kill zone just pull trigger, almost a built in rangefinder as it covers about 10" at 250 yards and bullet doesn't drop out of the dot until about 260 yards with this 18.5" 6.5 Grendel and 123gr eld-m factory ammo around 2400 fps zero'd at 200.
