Red Dot recommendations

I just got a Millet SP2 30mm red dot with sunshade. Im pretty sure the sunshade does nothing but thats just what Ive seen so far.

The red dot is visable against a blue sky, but not really agains white cloud. It's for use with a shotgun so my main concern is the 30mm tube obstructing my FOV. I'll probably find the ghost rings better overall but the red dot is cheap and adds to the LCF (look cool factor).
 
I have Bushnell Holo with 65MOA on top of Benelli M4. Love it. If you will think about pellets pattern it is close to 65 MOA circle (actually a little bigger). Makes catching birds so easy (for hunting) and for other things too :)

Well I did it, I got the Eotech XPS2-0 w:h:. Picked it up at the Brandon gun show from Wolverine Supplies. Also got the Streamlight TLR-1 for it as well. Looks like my zombie killa is ready to go,... as soon as I get it sighted in. Looks like I need to pick up some more slugs now too, it never ends does it? :runaway:

I'm really looking forward to some tactical shotgun matches next year now. It's gonna be a long winter.:(
 
I wonder if the cheapo bushnells and tascos from Walmart and Canadian Tire would survive, and if they don't,....could you not just return it?

Has anyone tried the Bushnell scope with the T-dot? I think it's based on the Acog design. It's a little big and heavy, but with the T-dot reticle, and the option for red or green, it seems to have caught my eye. It's also half the price of the Eotech, which I don't mind.

Just wondering if it will hold up the the pounding of a shotgun. I was considering one for a .22, just not sure if it's right for a shotty.

i have one on my 870 tactical and love it the birds fear me now lol i have a spare also if interestd pm me and i can send ya some pics of my 870 with it installed
