Just watched the newest episode about zombie guns. They came up with this stock for the 10/22 and had it rapid protyped on the show it was based on the p90. Apparantly they are going to manufacture these. I wish we could have aftermarket bullpup stocks. :(

That is awesome. Reminds me of both the P90 and the Battle Rifle from Halo. Awesome looking piece of kit. Just wish there was a legal way we could have one...

K anyone hating on Sons of Guns...common..thats pretty cool..if we could have one here I prob would...thats the cleanest looking Bullpup I think i have ever seen for a 10/22 Good job Red Jacket
 
They'll also be produced as a full firearm rather than just a kit. Maybe this one will be for us Canadians?

I can seperate the company from the show.

Red Jacket Firearms = Cool.

Sons of Guns = Meh. Seems like lots of phony "drama" like most "reality" shows. Still watch it for the guns though.
 
Sons of guns is like any tv show. They create problems and danger where there is none. Just like Ice Pilots. The crap they try to make sound like life or death is just everyday crap for a pilot.

I do like that gun though.
 
The show is practically a comedy with all that fake drama, but any show that has that many military weapons being messed with...will definitely get my attention.

That's a cool-looking stock, and a really fresh idea for the 10/22 I think. I did think it sounded REALLY plastic-y when he was playing with the charging handle. Anyhow, RJ could probably sell 1000 of those for every suppressed shotgun they sell. :) Surprised they haven't gotten into the 10/22 thing more.
 
Ambidextrous everything, except when you shoot it, cant shoot it left handed without eating the shells.....Prohib in Canada anyways.
 
Too bad we can't get those, when they come out... I never knew that aftermarket bullpup stock conversions are prohibited, or it because the OAL will be too short with a bullpup ?

I like watching sons of guns for the guns, but I find Will, his daughter, and new husband are 3 of the most annoying people on reality tv. Its obvious that the camera attention has gone to there heads, and now they think of themselves as really exciting, funny, cool people. It would'nt be as bad if just Will was not on camera, but I usually turn the volume down when he speaks.

Meh, a truly plastic thing....

and i hear ya about the way they over do the Drama, and the way his daughter talks make me wanna puke.... she adds a " ugh" after everything ugh.... ;-)

pretty cool stuff though. it sure would be fun to be able to build stuff like that all day long! full-auto, integrally suppressed gas operated full auto suppressed cool stuff!:ar15::eek:;):D
 
As another aside following the "Ice Pilots" comment. Ice Road Truckers is pretty much BS too. It is not nearly as deadly as the show tries to make it. Thing that drives most people off is the F'ing cold and the work. The sheer boredom of driving at 15 - 20 Kph for 16 hours is enough to drive most people mental.

y'all aint been around very long, have you?- these so-called gunsmiths do a lot of RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL ; there's a lot of the same stuff thatperforms just as well if not better already out there- ie the hk416 instead of an ar 15 rebuild
some of the guys on this board could show their "sniper" rifles a trick or 2
 
I think everyone gets the point about the show. Can you guys stop talking about the show and focus on what they've made here. There's a much larger thread elsewhere you can vent about the show.

I wonder if easing the restrictions on firearms will include bullpup stocks...
