Reducing recoil on a AR

PWS makes pretty good comps, but they are a bit pricey. If you want a cheaper solution then watch the EE for someone dumping their stag brake, those do a pretty decent job.

LOL... recoil...

All guns have recoil, no matter how minimal ...if there is a device out there to reduce what little there is to increase target acquisition and hits on target during rapid fire than why NOT ...thanks to those who actually contribute u...more trolls here than i thought tho

FOUND ONE HOLY SH*T $679.99 WTF is this made of Platinum lol Y so overpriced is machining this really that tough.

atleast the guy is asking about a brake for a centerfire cartridge, how many of you run a muzzle brake on your .22lr rimfire:p

Also -

Every rifle has recoil - muzzle brake reduces muzzle rise.

On a 22 rimfire a brake lessens the destabilizing gas at the base of the bullet when it leaves the barrel and makes the bullet more accurate - especially since the 22 pills are roughly cast making each bullet slightly different .
The accuracy gain is minimal but noticeable.
A Volquartsen brake on my ruger 10-22 shrunk the group size average about 5to 10 percent depending on the ammo used.

I still have one in the EE for sale for $55 shipped.
This is a good comp/brake and cheap.
It comes with the set screw and is very high quality.
Description is "Phantom Comp/Brake Agress End"
