Reimagining the Rook rifle, an all Canadian custom 3.75lb 5.6x50 Magnum

I would be terrified cutting into that stock like that...

I hear you...metal, I'm good. There is about a 600 $ blank in the garage that I dare not touch... a couple nice pieces just followed me home too.
Again, I'll ##### it up LOL. Might as well wait on a pro as to mess it up.
Nice work though

Truly it’s just one foot ahead of the other stuff and attention to detail, not rushing it. I can’t watch TV as I get bored in five minutes, though fine detail work steamrolls out stress, stretches time, messes with the wife’s plans... nice sense of satisfaction too. Worth the $600, the risk of something you love is far higher than something you loathe.

Oh my god- that stock! I had to wipe drool off my monitor; that's incredible!

You don't happen to trade money for CZ452 stocks that look like that? ;)

I do, but worked out the price of materials and time for a really good stock job and the figure is shocking. Prefer not to think about the hours invested. I think Ralf Martini is priced around my mental rally coincidentally and will be better than me by good measure, I’d send it his way, stocks and lines are his speciality. Be warned, just a proper piece of wood can easily go $2K before you start sweating on it. But it’s jewelry and art for big boys, worth it.
