Reimagining the Rook rifle, an all Canadian custom 3.75lb 5.6x50 Magnum

One side’s fully checkered now, looks good, feels good. Tough part is I went wraparound and keeping it all even, a lot like trying to wood floor a house and end even at each end of it in different rooms. All layout. Group is scoped, I can manage 2 1/2” with the peep right now.

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same checkering tools you have. I built a stock cradle so i could rotate the stock while I was checkering. I gradually lost interest and haven't checkered anything for years now. That rifle will look great, actually it already is.
 
Don’t judge yet just single rowed, will run the double row to even it all up soon. Happy with it.

Very nice... that is a beautiful heirloom... and it's a bonus that it also makes sense for resale to anyone on the Pacific Coast... ;)
