One side’s fully checkered now, looks good, feels good. Tough part is I went wraparound and keeping it all even, a lot like trying to wood floor a house and end even at each end of it in different rooms. All layout. Group is scoped, I can manage 2 1/2” with the peep right now.

First cutting the barrel to 19" then deciding to add wrap around checkering; you must love that walking on thin ice feeling. But, when its finally finished, man oh man, that will be a rifle!

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same checkering tools you have. I built a stock cradle so i could rotate the stock while I was checkering. I gradually lost interest and haven't checkered anything for years now. That rifle will look great, actually it already is.
