All,

I purchased a new firearm from Reliable Gun (online) and I have to say the staff were excellent before and after the sale. We ran into a little hiccup with Canada Post (CP's fault) and the staff at reliable gun had it resolved for me in no time flat. Glad I bought from them, will buy from them again and I just wanted to thank the guys there for some great service and advice.

Reliable is very....well....RELIABLE!! :)

Great store, it's an old time style gun store that has adapted very well to changing clientele/markets/shopping patterns. They serve trap shooters, black gunners and hunters all very well. It's actually remarkable what the do with that small space of theirs.

Dealt with them a couple times and will definitely deal with them again.

Excellent service.

Reliable is great. I popped in on a Saturday morning (busy) for a bipod, scope, rings etc... And even though they were busy, had a line up, Matt (I believe it was his name, was a year ago), without being asked, dropped my bipod on my rifle, attached my scope and while doing showed me a way of measuring distance from where I rested to my scope for eye relief.

AND it was on paper at 200 yards after he bore sighted it.

Great place. Their sales don't hurt either!

First shotgun I owned was from Harkley & Haywood.
Pah bawt me a .410 Mossberg pump.
Second one came from Reliable when I was around 11 or 12.
Used my summer muhnies to purchase my very own shotgun.
I wanted the A-5 and got swindled into buying a Franchi semi 12 gauge.
I was twenty dollars short and dad made me buy the Franchi.
Ohhhh I cussed the old boy on occassion hunting with that Franchi.
But I do remember the time they spent with me as a wee folk and have
chatted with them over the phone on the odd thing.

Very helpful, informative and would deal with them again in a heartbeat.

Had a very pleasant experience ordering with them. Was shipped 3 hours after I ordered on a friday and it showed up at my house tuesday. Great shop

AHHH yes I do miss shops like these today; Harkley & Haywood, I worked there for a couple years 1st job after High school, that's where I met Noby Uno gunsmith for Harkley.
Fond memories from those days, great people on both sides of the counter. If you wanted a custom firearm to fishing rods they built them right there.

They are my favourite LGS and I feel very lucky to have them here. I bought my first pistols from them, and my latest acquisition as well.

As for their hours, I've been known to actually take time off of work to go down there. It's worth it! :)

Reliable is AWESOME! They're also staunch supporters of local shooting competitions, including the DSSMatch.com Tactical Shooting circuit.

They're a MUST stop when I get into the City!

It's my Go-to store even though I can be at the other one in five minutes by bike. Reliable takes me about 20 minutes but it's well worth the ride.

Reliable and decent Chinese food are the only things I miss since moving out of Vancouver.
Great folks.

Agreed. I miss living in GVD every so often, although I do not miss the prices. Reliable was a go-to every payday, and though it were some years ago now, I remember the people I dealt with then and how easy it was to get answers to stupid questions.... I am glad it is still doing what it did then.

I've been a Reliable fan since my Dad used to take me there when I was little. Their service has been top notch for years. Probably has something to do with being a Third Generation gunstore. You don't see that much anymore.

In my experience, Reliable is easily the best in the region as far as service and overall selection are concerned.

First gun store I ever went to about 7 years ago. I told the salesman I was waiting for my RPAL to come in the mail and wanted to buy a pistol from them as soon as it came. He basically told me to take a hike until my PAL came. Never bought anything there since despite some good prices.
