Has anyone used 12 gauge brass and sabots to reload for a 12 gauge rifled barrel slug gun?
Who manufactures good quality sabots .... And does it make sense to use full brass instead of the usual plastic
I assume that you should be able to get good accuracy / knockdown power out to 200 meters without any problems with good reloads
I'm comfortable out to 160 meters with my Hornady or Remington sabots

My main deer hunting area is shotgun /muzzle loader only and I want to stay with my shotgun, but would love to reload so I can do some target practice.
Did some google searches but didn't find much, other then those who are making their own slugs ... And I really don't want to do that.
Any suggestions or ideas?

Get ahold of Bilozir.net. He's in Alberta and is the importer for BPI products. w ww.bpiproducts.com
I bought some slugs but BPI does not publish any load data, you have to buy their manuals so I never got around to loading them. I geuss I'll order a manual and roll crimper one day to try them out.

I know you said you didn't want to cast your own. However, some commercial casters make the 12 ga. Lyman sabot slug found here:
ww w.lymanproducts.com/lyman/bullet-casting/select-mould-shotgun.php

These can be loaded into a WAA12 or similar wad and AA hull and a regular (not roll) crimp can be used. I have a friend who used these loads out of an 870 with an extended rifled choke tube & got 3-4 inch groups @ 100 yards with them. A fully rifled barrel should do even better.
