Has anyone used 12 gauge brass and sabots to reload for a 12 gauge rifled barrel slug gun?
Who manufactures good quality sabots .... And does it make sense to use full brass instead of the usual plastic
I assume that you should be able to get good accuracy / knockdown power out to 200 meters without any problems with good reloads
I'm comfortable out to 160 meters with my Hornady or Remington sabots
My main deer hunting area is shotgun /muzzle loader only and I want to stay with my shotgun, but would love to reload so I can do some target practice.
Did some google searches but didn't find much, other then those who are making their own slugs ... And I really don't want to do that.
Any suggestions or ideas?
