For you guys that reload what bullets have you had the best luck with. I've shot 150 grain Speer SPs (.311") with decent results. I'm wondering if the Hornady 174 grain bullets would be more accurate. Anyone have any luck with them?
Did you find the Speers 150gr sp a little too short? The bottom one is surplus. The top one is a Speers Hot Core 150 gr sp .311

He meant singular -- it puts round inside a dime at 100yds.he says it puts rounds inside a dime at 100 yds and is his most accurate load in all of his mosins. I have been too lazy to try any yet
I'm new to reloading, but everything I've read suggests minimizing the distance between the bullet and the rifling for the best results.
As far as brass goes, I bought 300 Lapua cases from Mystic Precision and 500 PRVI rounds from SFRC. The PRVI is brass and boxer primed.
I'd love to see a pic of your brass after being fired through the SVT. Does the fluted chamber mess up the cases?
Not had a chance to reload one yet, any tips on where to find brass in Canada though?
I got a load using 123gr hornady sks bullets over 50 gr of imr 4895 from another shooter. he says it puts rounds inside a dime at 100 yds and is his most accurate load in all of his mosins. I have been too lazy to try any yet
