Reloading Dealers

i dont like lee dies as they are so hard to work with when you want to make fine adjustments. lee does make some nice reloading tools that are worth buying. i stick with lyman dies and molds, i hate aluminum block molds.
 
I stay away from Lee as well, aluminum molds made by LBT, NOE, BRP, Mountain Molds etc. are very good, the aluminum used in Lee molds is soft and cannot be compared to aluminum from some of the top makers.
 
I have changed all my die sets to Lee and would never change back, they have great customer service. I have had so much trouble with RCBS and Lyman and basically have had to give my other brands away. I still have a set of RCBS 257 Roberts and a set of Lyman 270 dies that are available if anyone is interested. When I go to the gun shows I see more RCBS dies for sale than any other brand. That tells me something.

Not if you insist on shipping via USPS . If they ship UPS, yes, you're going to get diddled on brokerage charges. Most US suppliers simply don't know this.

To the OP- Another vote for Henry Nierychlo. Higginson's is also good. (They are the Cdn. distributor for Lee, BTW. Not sure of that's the case for Hornady but they carry that as well.)

That was the price there shipping calculator came up with for 1 set of dies shipped USPS , I then put together a package order of 6 items & the shipping increased to over $50

YOUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still sounds suspicious but of course "I wasn't there." I'm lucky- I have stuff shipped to my gf. place in Bellingham and bring them across myself, therefore only CONUS shipping charges. Only works for stuff I'm legally allowed to take out of the US, of course. For anything else I'd use Henry N.

iv used Lee reloading dies for years, best dies ever, the least amount of run out for any dies I have ever used. Better than redding or rcbs, I think rcbs are the bottom of the barrel. they have the most run out and cost way to much.
 
Give Williams Arms in Port Perry, ON a call about the .30 Carbine dies. They usually stock a good amount of Lee dies.


My order from Factory Sales just arrived today
I priced all my exact items from an Ontario based Lee Dealer
$653 before taxes and shipping (we pay 13% HST) Shipping would be less at about $37 Canada Post

Factory Sales was $432 for the items before shipping and Customs tax (%13HST + $5). Shipping via USPS was $93.60 for a 37lb large box. It took 6 days to arrive from Wisconsin after being shipped. This is the first time I had a backorder and they refunded me the $3 before shipping the order for the spare .416 expander/decapper that they and Lee did not currently have in stock.

Factory Sales to my door $586.76
Ontario Lee Dealer to my door $774.89

You can figure out the shipping from FS on their site without actually placing the order. Just add the items and your address and it will tell you what they would charge. Canadian stuff can be done easily on Canada Posts site.

I have ordered a bunch of stuff from a non supporting dealer.
The company I ordered from has been telling me for the last 2 weeks that everything was stuck at customs.
So yesterday I called and spoke to Henry Nierychlo. It was pleasure to speak with him unfortunately he didn't have what I needed in stock.
I will be ordering things from him in the future.
