Reloading For AG-42b-Safe Powders?

Hello,

Finally got out to the range with what I made up. I had 140 grain projectiles behind 35 grains of IMR 4895, blew a primer right away. Brass failed to eject, I was able to pull it out with no resistance. Using the 36 grains as you all recommended completely solved the issue, 20 rounds without a single problem. Inspected the brass and it was all good, no raised primers or other problem signs. I do not have a neck sizer or headspace gauge but I will compare fired and unfired brass to see.

Either way I want to thank you all for the load advice, I never would have assumed that I needed more powder not less to solve the issue I was facing.

Thanks

On a note regarding brass for the AG42B. I bought some new Hornady loaded ammunition and found that three out of five new cartridges had case separation on firing. Bullet flew true, and both parts of the case ejected but no re-use of brass. The PPU that I normally use works fine, both as new store-bought and as re-loads. Case is much thicker on the PPU. I'm using the same IMR 4895 loads for both the AG42 and my M38 bolt gun.
