Reloading Kits? What did you like and not like ?

I don’t have any problems with the scale, but setting between loads for ladder testing is just time consuming compare to other scales!

I will echo that sentiment - for many years, I was beam scale and trickle - so with new-to-me Chargemaster Lite - was just too easy to do up a set of 10 increments from Start to 0.5 grains beyond book max - just have to keep track about what number that you key in. I presume the accuracy of 0.1 grain means the same as 0.1 grain accuracy on beam scale, so as good as I could do before, but 1/10th (?) the time?

So I ended up getting a kit not quite for the kit but for the price. I managed to pick up a lee classic turret press kit for cheaper than the price of the press itself. So it was to hard to pass up.

I am planning on selling the scale and probably the auto drum powder measure as I plan to load powder separately. It also came with modern reloading second edition revised in 2021 so for the press and the book it was a good deal.

Gunn see how the priming system works but want a hand de primer at some point. Also managed to get my hands on some cci primers both br2 and large rifle magnum.

Just waiting on a decision for a die set then I’ll be pretty much ready to play.

Hope everyone’s having a good November!

Good investment!

After dies (Lee are more than adequate), I recommend a hand priming tool as your first addition. You won't be able to get a feel for primer seating until you do.

FWIW, I really like the Lee scale. Once you figure out the details, it works fine and it is shockingly sensitive.
