Reloading shotgun hulls?

thump_rrr: Clays is an excellent powder for target loads. All I use now, for 12 gauge, 7/8 oz shot shells. Meters well. Soft recoiling and relatively clean. Consistent patterns.

My basic load:
Win. AA-HS hull. (Remington STS or Game Club work well, too)
Win 209 primer.
Claybuster: CB0178-12 ( good substitute wad for WAA12L.)
Shot: #7.5 (#8 shot works well too. Tends to settle a little more in the wad. Easy to adjust MEC to get good crimp).

As downwindtracker2 recommends: Hodgdon Reloading has some good load data.

Note: Powder charge not included.

Chas59: Good online resources and worth watching. Plenty of useful information to be had. I generally don't load a lot of buckshot, but do on occasion. Load slugs, more often. Regardless, a reloader can still gain a lot of good knowledge by watching the videos.

Thanks for sharing.
