Rem. 760 .35 Whelan

I have a few shootin' irons go through my hands, and all of them here in Canada. The Blue Book is the best guide for used guns that I know of. In general, the price listed for most guns is just about right, in Canadian dollars. So if BB lists a 90% Remchester at $500, it is probably worth about $500 Cdn here. There are LOTS of exceptions, as well as regional variations, which should be strange in this day of Internet gun buying, but that's the reality.

I am taking a 7600 in .35 Whelen to a gun show on Sunday. It is in NRA VG condition with new synthetic stocks. I can tell you that it will not have a $650 price tag on it...............since I want to sell it and not bring it home.:p

ChillyWilly - I'd be interested in all your load info with Rel15 especially. PM me if you care to.
As to values, I have the a sibling 7600 Carbine/35Whelen rifle that I bought new last summer at Epps ($679 plus taxes) exactly when yours was first purchased I believe. I mounted a 1x4x20 Leup on it and took it Moose hunting. I love it. I would guess my 225BallisticTip loads (2517MV with 59.5ReL15) should net similar velocities to the Accubonds. Please let me know if you have a chrony and don't mind. Watch the ejection port clearance with your COALS. Here's my initial load notes - http://35cal.com/loading.html#7600carbine
