I have a few shootin' irons go through my hands, and all of them here in Canada. The Blue Book is the best guide for used guns that I know of. In general, the price listed for most guns is just about right, in Canadian dollars. So if BB lists a 90% Remchester at $500, it is probably worth about $500 Cdn here. There are LOTS of exceptions, as well as regional variations, which should be strange in this day of Internet gun buying, but that's the reality.
I am taking a 7600 in .35 Whelen to a gun show on Sunday. It is in NRA VG condition with new synthetic stocks. I can tell you that it will not have a $650 price tag on it...............since I want to sell it and not bring it home.
