Rem700 receivers

I personally like the Remington 700 extractor. Despite getting into "deep" water with hot loads a few times, I have had exactly "one" failure. Lest anyone think that I have only owned a couple of Remington 700's let me elaborate. I started buying 721/722 Remingtons before the 700 was released. Once the new design came on board, I was enamored enough with it to build a battery of Remingtons. Since 1963, I have owned and shot more than 115 examples of the 700, in every chambering from the 222 to the 375 H&H. I presently own about 25 of them. [Before you start ragging on me, I also own Winchester 70's, Ruger 77/77 Mk II's, Mausers, Enfields, etc, etc] If there is even a vague chance of personal or bystander injury from a unwise conversion, I'm for leaving well enough alone. Enough said from me! Regards, Eagleye.
