I would like to congratulate all of our members, Gun stores and Canadians in general who bought 'till the last second. You guys are the light in this terribly dark day. One day we'll be free with a FAL in every home.
 
Fsck the liberals, and fsck anyone who votes for them in the next election. Thanks for all the tips and links guys. Fun while it lasted. Looks like it's time to start buying up ammo, mags, spare parts, and optics. We'll have a lot more mouths to feed in the coming months.
 
This was one of the more solid threads through out the panic. I was able to snag a PSA Dagger cause of this thread.

And I wanted to thank the Liberal government, specially Justin and Marco for pushing me to grab what I can.

Would’ve liked a single action cowboy 22, but not a biggy if transfer doesn’t go through, I am pretty happy with what I am able to grab before the freeze, I thought I wouldn’t be able to get my RPAL before the freeze!

thread landed me a SIG P320 AXP and a Gen 5 Glock 17, not thrilled with the 'opportunist surcharge' I paid on that G17, but hey, end times. I'll just remember to never shop at that particular retailer again. Seems like an odd business decision to risk the future alienation of your customer base for an extra couple hundred dollars on the last remaining scraps....but I guess I'm not the one who just lost a massive % of my business today.
 
Got my Rpal at the end of September. Thankfully able to order 5 handguns with some help from this thread.
Thanks for keeping the spark alive and allowing us to grab what we could.
 
Big thanks to this thread and all who contributed. I bought 6 handguns since May (previously had none!) and two of them were thanks to this thread. I snagged a S&W 686 plus, and a P320 RXP that I would never have found otherwise!
 
Thanks to everyone who posted in this thread. I was able to grab a P320 from Reliable this week because of the updates.
I have to admit the buying and selling was a lot of fun, it was great to see everyone helping each other find what they needed.
 
I echo everyone's sentiment. Thanks everybody! I got a couple guns from Ellwood because of the updates here. I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands without looking for new stock now, I guess.
 
This thread was a stroke of genius and a coming together of this community. I went from noob to plunging straight into the deep end over a span of 2 months. Wild ride. Thanks everyone for being on this journey during this crazy time and sharing in the ups and downs. All the best.

Anyone who got a transfer ref today. But later Denied a transfer. Should be filing an s74.

If the gov did not want transfers started today. The transfer portal should not have been open to allow the start of them.
 
Great thread. It didn't help me buy what I wanted, but it was my go to thread everytime I logged on this website. Too bad it's over now...
