Have found when loading belted cases, sizing case to headspace on shoulder instead of the belt for the first load, prolongs case life.

i feed two mark5 257wbys
i have a markv in ultralite accumark 257 and Ms varmitr's is a 1976 model in a deluxe (24" pipe) both with 3.5x10x50 loopys, on conetrol rings, i only use 100grainers triple shocks for hunting and hornady stuff for 'blanging' gongs and killing paper.
burning imr4831 gets 3550fps in the 26" and the same load in the 24" gets 3500. imr4831 is not the best choice for powder, just a little to fast...antelope,mulie whites, yotes, wolf to moose 100grs no problem.
IMO the wby is one of the finest shelf bought guns out there, and the 257 is quite forgiving considering its extreme trajectory, outrageous impact values, and small recoil.
just for gits and shiggles, id say that 90% of hunting in canada could be done with a 25 cal
