Remington 7600 tips/advice

Now that the election is done I am thinking of swapping the stock on the 7600 for this good quality Choate side folder. It'll make the carbine more transportable.

It'll add 1/2" to the current 13 1/4" LOP put I think I can manage that.

There are fitment issues when using 7600 mags in a 760, but generally the all metal mags work well in the 7600. As for dust covers, I have a few if needed.

I’d take 2 of those dust covers if you still have them.

^^^I'll have to confirm. I may have misspoke thinking of the 7400 dust covers I know I have.

Just enherited my grandfather 7600. cleaned its and found that its missing the large Cam Pin that i cant find anywhere and he modifyed the butt stock. Any know where i can get the parts I need. located in Northern Ontario. Only found the pin on an american website.

What is the "Cam Pin"?

Its 1 of the 2 pins that force the cam to rotate when the action is fully forward.

I switched the PA 1x8 onto my 7400 and installed a PA 1x6 from one of my banned by c0ck5ucker Blackface rifles.

With crappy Norinco copper wash 150 gr the 7600 shoots 1" on POA at 100 yards off a wobbly front bag.

The 7400 has my PA 1x8 on it and it shot 1 MOA at 100 yards and 2" at 200 yards. The ACCS reticle zeroed at 100 was on at 200 using the BDC.

I was surprised by the 7400 at 200 yards. The triggers on both are creepy and I expected worse.

I sighted the 7400 irons at 25 yards and it one holes on the POA. I did have to move the rear sight as high as it could go on the ramp to make it print to POA. I like it because I don't have to scrunch down so low on the stock to use the irons now.

Next step is to fine tune the scopes with decent ammo.

Did you install this stock on your rifle ? I've been looking at a few stocks lately , including the E2 type pistol grip fixed buttstock one . I was wondering how it worked out for you .

No I stayed with the Rem stock, it's more fuddish, a good thing in Lieberal Kanaduh.

I just ordered a cheap ATI extending pistol grip stock for it because f*ck the 8lackface Liberaksxand their OIC bans.

30" to the end of the flash hider.

It's a little lighter than the Remington stock and the cheek weld is OK, a touch high but OK.

Non Restricted, go anywhere, can hunt with it and it legally accepts 10 round magazines.
