Good Day, I just put my deposit down on a Rem. 7615 Tac. today. Anyone have any experience with this rifle or suggestions on accessories. What are some of the better AR 15 magazines I can purchase & from who? Thanks in advance for the advise. :canadaFlag:

get the 10 rounder. they work fine.

loose the factory big dot sights. sell them to someone with an 870. PRI mounts makes a real nice rail that just bolts on. get a nice eotech/aimpoint/acog.

get a brobee adapter and a nice stock. loose the factory junk.

enjoy the funky new non restricted you just made.

the best i was able to do was about 3". had when you have to lift the rifle to pump, plus the big dot covers dam near the whole target.

once i get a scope for it i'll try it again.

I have used the red dot scopes before and I do like them... will probably go that route. But has anyone used the holo sight and what do they think of them, as I or no one I know have ever used one. Maybe I just answered my own question?!

I wouldn't get rid of the irons on ANY social firearm.... on my 7615P I swapped in an XS 24/7 post (vertical tritium bar) and a Wilson Combat tritium rear aperture.

Then I bought Remington's youth butt stock (13" LOP) for the 20 gauge 870, which is a perfect fit. Fits perfectly in the cruiser 870 mount, if one were so inclined ;) , which a telescoping stock won't.

I might get a rail for an optic, but then it won't be in "stealth" mode then. If I do get an optic, it will be an Aimpoint micro.

The only thing left to add is a GG&G single point sling adapter and an Ergo forend rail so one can add a light, but they won't apparently be ready until the new year.

it is a pump and if the mag cannot be removed then it can be unlimited. cus it wont work in any other gun after that, just load from the top of the gun with stipper cilps.

i know you cant yet but you your despret for a hi cap mag leagaly then modify you gun so you can. yes i have held the gun, thats why i know it would tack a lot of work and probly ruin a good gun, but till the hi cap mag ban is over your stuck a 10rnds.

That's why I got a 7600P 16.5" in .308:p f**k the mag restrictions.

Check it out

When the RCMP ruled that AR hi cap mags were illegal in 7615s I went 1 up. Went to the 7600P .308 . There is no restriction on mag cap. The Eagle 10 rounders I have require some fitting, the steel (no mfg avail.) 10 rounders work great.

It has a Mesa Tac high tube adapter and ACE folding mech. Great for the bush. I have a set of irons for it but cannot be used with the scope.

Shoots MOA at 100 yds. Was going to sell it and am glad I didn't.

In the last few pictures I had removed the front sight as I was about to replace it with a tritium

Wally, yeah it does. That's a Mesa Tactical 870 adapter and there is a fellow nut that put a Brobee on his 7615.

rd, it's a Leapers but I got it from the US before all of the US State dept. BS. It's taken a pretty good beating bouncing around in the front box of my quad and I've had no issues with it so far. I have had it on my M14 and AR180B as well. For the money I'd say it's not a bad deal.
