So I am jumping in a couple of weeks late...
I was going to pick up a couple of 870's for my sons for Christmas.. My oldest son's GF wants to give him one for his birthday, and of course, I am in charge of procurement. And the date has been moved up. Anyone know anywhere that has a 12 Gauge 870 (probably express...$$) in stock?

It seems there was a shipment of three 870 versions that has made it to Canada recently:
Ellwoodepps has a whole bunch in stock .... and those 870s should be showing up at other dealers as well soon ... I would assume ....

What purpose? If for giggles, I'd buy a TAC14 and a stock. He can always buy a cheap express barrel if he wants to hunt it.

I put a sga on a tac 14 turns it into a nice usable gun
I'm a big fan of the SGA stock for short barreled 870 shotguns:

Custom Dlask 8"
870P 14"
FYI the middle one has the Remington butt pad adapter on the SGA and it is a much nicer shape - fits the shoulder much better. I plan to convert them all eventually.
Just looking to make a flush look for my TAc-14 , they have nice looking stuff just nothing short enough.

Where do you find those adapters?
It's a Magpul product. It came with the stock that I purchased on the EE. I have not looked to see if they are available in Canada right now, but do intend to upgrade all my Magpul shotgun stocks.
