Just bought a Remington Model 7 Predator in .223, 1 in 12 twist. Have not shot it yet and waiting for a scope, anyone own one and what are their opinions on Model 7 or Predator specifically? What would be good round choices with 1 in 12 twist?
i ordered a set of weaver mounts on amazon.ca, just use the weaver part number for searching.
jmho RJSo Fud..... have you had it out yet? Hoping you are liking it so far

I have had very good luck with a variety of flat based 55 grain SP's in a lot of 1-12 twist .223 Remingtons. I very much like the handling of the model 7 predator rifles and if I stumbled across the right deal on one with a 1-9 twist or .22-250 Remington I'd be all over it.
Just remember the 22-250 Remy is a 1-14 twist . RJ
It has the extra velocity that gets the RPMs up to where they want to be. Still, more than 14" would be better, it's not the end of the world.
Had to return the rifle to Remington for warranty work, burr in chamber was scratching all the casings and had 5 or 6, out of 28 fired, extremely hard to extract after firing. Cant wait to get it back for trigger job and glass bed and free float barrel if possible.
Remington has decided to replace the rifle, late November or december. Apparently they are manufacturing a one time, limited production of the Model 7 predator. I'm guessing they had a manufacturing problem and have had many returned rifles?
40- 69gr will all shoot fine.
