Just finished giving this old girl a facelift. It was the very first new centerfire I ever bought, and for some reason I sold it a few years later. Well I finally was able to buy it back, so I decided to give it a bit of a remake. I bought a KS pattern mcmillan from a friend here on CGN, bedded it, and painted it black. I added the 4th hole for 2-piece bases, fluted the bolt, recontoured and shortened the shroud, and finally swapped out the front sight for a 700 sight that was slotted for a hood. Finally sent it out to another friend here on CGN to have all the metal gunkoted black.
