Remington pump gun rebarrel to 9.3X62.

Okay, one more try.

Someone, somewhere, has a Rem pump with a trashed barrel: blown up, or bent, bulged or rusted, doesn't matter. It may be in a closet, under a bench, or languishing in a pile of junk because it won't shoot well at all.

Or, perhaps it's cheap because it has been abused, beat up and down, no bluing left, dents in the stock, scratches and dings on the metal d:h:, but is a fully functional rifle.
We want to make it proud! Thk

I may be wrong but I thought I saw a well used 760 pump in Reliable guns used rack.

Edit. Just checked, 399.00 for one in 30-06 and comes with 2 mags. Has a scope mounted too. It did look well used but functional.

Got a 760 30-06, was looking for a 7600 in 35Whelan, but talked myself into a model 700 .35 Whelan that showed up at Shooter's Den. Doubt if a big game animal would know the difference between a 35 Whelan loaded with 250Gr. bullets and a 9.3, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Having both sitting here I would say sort of like splitting hairs ?

I have one in 30-06 that meets some of the above criteria, still has most of the bluing on the receiver. It has a 742 barrel with the hole plugged.
I works fine. I was planning to use it for a 338-06 build, that I'm probably not going to get around to, so may dispose of it someday.

Bingo! :dancingbanana:

I am a bolt guy, but would love to see this happen....... The 7600 is super reliable (especially if you get an older one)..... And super easy to get the next round ready...... I agree with BUM, this would be an awesome moose rifle.....

Plus, who didn't think something fuddly yet different is cool?.....
