Remington Tactical club of Canada

The crosshairs can remain white, but the skull is a photo image and when printing with ink, the reflective quality of the skull cannot be reproduced with a quality result, I would suggest converting the skull to greyscale. And the bleed though should be eliminated when converted to a solid greyscale image. As well, the image does need to be sharpened considerably, specifically the maple leaf, it is too rasterized around the edges.

A 450dpi or better TIFF file or a Adobe PSD file will work great.

And remember, more colours mean more money...you already have four (red, grey, white and black), so don't add any more!;)

This is 3 colour - white red and black. The skull can be done as a half-tone, Red gets laid down first with holes for the type/skull. The skull gets hit with a solid white first (with the type and the reticle) and then the black half tone is printed onto of the white. It works well and the res does not have to be 450 DPI. That is overkill. The maximum most printers can print on paper is 300 DPI and I have had great graphics on fabric at 200 DPI.

How large were you thinking?

Well, you seem to have it well in hand. Please disregard my suggestions.

I apologize if I came across all knowing. This is a volunteer/group effort - and I am late in the game - so any suggestions are welcome. I am drawing from my experience, but in no way is that exclusive to my participation.

I suggest you email the image to your printer with the caveat that this is coming from a design professional, who can make the image to suit your printers specs and needs. Ready and willing to finish this today if required.

No offence taken. I too was drawing from personal experience. It is also my experience that if too many people make suggestions, nothing gets done!;)

The zombie head on my first t-shirts was quite an intricate image and required a high dpi ratio to maintain sharpness...YMMV.

Cheers and have fun!

Hey you've got the stock market cornered, no need to feel inadequete, leave that for the Savage owners.

The shirts are going to be tan right? If so I think black crosshairs and writing. I also liked the fading maple leaf as on the black background. We sound like a bunch of women trying to pick out shoes or something :)
