I should start taking pics of targets again. But, once you've seen one SUB-MOA Gremlington, you've seen them all.

how many yards. my 270wthb punches right threw at 500.

1/4" mild steel?

Those targets were 372 yards, 3/4" thick wear plate off a bucket....

If .270 WSM's, 300 WSM's, 7RM's, 7 WSM's, 7 RSAUMs, 300 WM's, 260 Rems, 30-06s, .270 Wins, .338 WM's, .325 WSM's, .25-06's wont punch it, I hardly doubt your magical f**king BEE will.

Archie, almost kimber 7mm wsm country there!

:D if only i were so lucky to find one! Mind you my Montana 8400 .270 shoots just as good, and at WSM velocities to boot. As well, Im sure my Montana .223 will shoot same, when ever I pay it off. Bartell told me he's going to break my legs if he doesn't get his money

must be 7-08r judging powder chg.

Its a 7 WBY with managed recoil loads.

Dude, you are either old enough that dementia has set in and the nurses at the home are letting you do this for a laugh, or you are just plain Speshul. And the capital "s" was no mistake.
Bring on the Jello.

For the life of me I can't understand this fascination with Tikkas:confused:

I just don't get it I guess.

There's gotta be 7million or so Model700's out there and everybody has sand in their vag over the last 200 thou or so.

Leveractionjunkie, I am one of those guys who is fascinated with Tikka's. Used to be a hardcore Remmy guy. Bough them, and when they didn't shoot , no problem, because remember when every body used to say , just bought it for the action anyways! So off to the gunsmith they go, thousand later shot fairly well. No problem, life is good. Couldn't find a gun in 22-250 for a truck/coyote gun. Oh well buy a cheap plastic stocked 22-250 for now. Wow, does this thing shoot, Never looked back, why buy a gun that needs gunsmithing when you can buy a gun, set trigger yourself, and just change stock if you want to, and are done? Just my experience.

With-out getting to far of track, just what did the gunsmith do to get it to shoot?

He trued the action, cut off that ridiculous muzzlebrake and recrowned it, and then rechambered it to 223 AI. It's now sporting about an 19-20" barrel and shoots real well. Handy little rifle too. That is the only one out of about a dozen I've owned that wouldn't shoot, although I get them trued if I rebarrel anyway. I figure if the barrel if off anyway, I may as well take that factor out of the equation.
