I have an HS Precision DM kit (SA- .308) that, apart from some very minor trimming was a perfect fit in my 700 SS 5R HS Precision stock. Only drawback is that it's pricey, especially the 10 rd. mags.

I want to set up my 5R SS as well, where did you buy the DM kit?
How was the trimming? Something I could just do with my dremel?
I bought it from ATRS (Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply), but I bought the 10 rd mags from P&D Enterprises as ATRS didn't have any, so they will likely have the kit as well.
The kit comes with directions on where to trim, no need for a dremel, just a small xacto knife to remove a little material on the underside cross-piece between the trigger group and mag well portion, really easy as your just trimming a little of the composite, not aluminum. This is because the mag release is a slightly different shape and the bottom metal won't seat all the way in. If you get it and have any trouble, PM me, and I will take a picture for you if you can't figure it out from the directions. Let us know how you make out.

I recently installed the HS bottom-metal kit with 10-rd magazine. No inletting of the stock was required on my 5R SS - I only had to file a few millimeters off the cross brace to make room for the mag release spring. It took all of 2 minutes with a circular file. I like the fact that I can swap the "stock" floorplate back in at anytime.
I picked my kit up from Wolverine Supplies, they are awesome to deal with. Shoot me a pm if you want more info.
CDI Precision out of Florida are doing very good bottom metal..( good reviews on Snipers Hide) it takes AI mags and yes they ship to Canada... they're considerably cheaper than Badger...
