a few months ago I took my rifle to a local gunshop and well known sponsor on this site to fit a scope for me.
They took the gun/scope and told me to come back in an hour. When I got back he had loctite'd the scope to the scope rings without even fitting the gun to me.
I took a look in the store and it seemed fine, so i ignored it. But I've realized after hunting and plinking with the rifle that the scope is too far forward. The scope has also smashed 3 different people in the forehead and caused bleeding due to its awkward position.
Is there any way for me to move the scope further back without ugly rings left on the scope from solvent?
