That is a decent price, but shingling my roof broke me for now! There is one listed on GP for $6k. Thats pretty reasonable for the real thing.
Yea, I had similar sort of result with the Waffenmeister scope.Just wanted to post on here as I couldn't find much in the way of reviews before I purchased a No.32 Mk2 from Waffenmeister.
I picked up one early this year, looked great. Put about 10 rounds through it, then the focus dropped out. Took the plate that covers the erector lens off, found it was just a fake plate, and has three smaller staked screws under. No opportunity to adjust. Sent it back and got a replacement, the second one would skip adjustment on windage, elevation was fine. Sent an email and asked for refund, literally got a "not interested reply" from the Company.
I am considering one of these as I have 2 Red Star Mountain and both have failed and had dodgy clicks with the turrets. Can I ask as you have these how the shoot and how you would rate them
Warren, just wondering if any progress ever got made on my repro No. 32? Or am I SOL with respect to it getting corrected?Just a heads up, that I will not be repairing any more of the REPRO No. 32 Mk. 1,2 and 3 repro RSM, and Waffenmeister scopes for the immediate future.
Hi Warren,Do not worry about shooting your original REL scopes and having a lens separation or scope problem.
I can repair them and I have new lenses in the paper (not original REL) but copies I had made overseas.
As long as your tube is not destroyed, I can build you a scope from a tube....original, no more repro tubes,
Do not hide your LongBranch sniper in the safe.
I can repair your 32 scope no matter what you do to it....even a house fire which will bugger every lens.
Done a few of those over the years....
cheers
Warren
