My defective 10Tr also came from SFRC but it had no signs of wear, it just couldn't shoot straight and they would not take it back.
I had to deal with Grech and savage Canada which was fine but it did take a few weeks. SFRC had other rifles in stock at the time and would have been easier if they would have exchanged it but their hands were tied from the distributed.

Anyways I hope this works out for you OP.

If you're not happy with the rifle you're more than welcome to send it back and we'll exchange it for another one. I just saw the pictures of the screws in the email you sent and that's not normal. The wear on some guns from test firing is normal.

As we told you we don't back date boxing week sales and it was purchased the week before the sale.

Well....that escalated quickly!

Well Im not the one throwing nonesense. I did contact them to ask for the rebate but never asked to return the rifle. Still is disapointed about the rebate but you've seen the rifle, it just added to the disapointment...and now they treat me like the bad guy... Just wow.

Now thats the answer I tought I'd receive in the first place. Always had good service with you, I don't get why this time was going south like that.

I've since been able to make some headway on issues like that...not always but sometimes. I was able to get a bunch sorted out due to the issues I had with cases like yours. The big thing is if they have been shot once received.

As I said I may have been thinking of another person. If so I apologize. Two people were trying to get me to price match Cabelas Boxing Day price as well.

I can assure you it hasnt been fired since yesterday lol Im at work since 11:00pm (yes 14hours+)

That's why I posted you can send it back for another one :).

Being fired was in reference to the ones that weren't shooting straight.

Chemist second response should have been the first. The OP can also file a complaint with the credit card company if that was how it was paid for. If the seller wont accept the item back (even if an exchange is offered) the credit card company can "claw back" the charges. Been through this. You still have to pay your credit card bill (some instances vary). The refund process (if granted) takes about 60 days.
